I was raised in Miami, Florida where I became a competitive Synchronized Swimmer. I competed for ten years as a Junior athlete achieving many State Championships. Upon graduation from high school, I moved to Monterey, California where I continued my competitive career as a Senior athlete along with getting my Judges rating and assistant coaching the younger athletes on the team. As the sport grew around the world, I went to Brazil to coach their National Champion and then went to Aruba to prepare and coach their athletes in the 1984 Olympics held in Los Angeles.
I also pursued my other passion which was training and showing Arabian horses throughout California where I ended up meeting my husband, Bill, on the central coast of California. I was fortunate to live on the family ranch where I took care of the commercial avocado orchard and cow/calf operation for the next six years.
From there we went to Alaska for what was to be a short stay and ended up staying for ten years. We worked in the Environmental Field and eventually, for an Alaskan Native Corporation building a national Telecommunications Company. This allowed us to move all around the Western U.S. We were lucky to experience all the wonderful places west of the Rockies. When we discovered the Grand Valley, we knew we found our permanent home.
I have always had a passion for Real Estate and was thrilled to have the opportunity to pursue a career in it. As I have always done, I strive for excellence in whatever I do, and am proud to work for a company like Bray. I look forward to meeting new people and sharing my enthusiasm for this beautiful place I feel fortunate to call my forever home.
